Dr. Rachel Cobb
Dr. Rachel Cobb was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She started her career in veterinary medicine at the age of 14, where she worked as a kennel assistant and eventually worked her way up to a technician assistant position before attending veterinary school. She credits her passion for medicine on her family, which consists of two other veterinarians, two physicians, and a nurse.
Dr. Cobb attended the University of Oregon where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1999. She went on to graduate from Oregon State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduation, she lived in Hawaii, Missouri, and Oregon before settling in Carlsbad permanently.
Dr. Cobb has a special interest in internal medicine, feline medicine, preventative healthcare, and client education. She feels that the most important aspect of veterinary medicine is compassionate and quality care for all pets.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cobb enjoys spending time with her two boys and two dogs, going to the gym, and attending comedy shows and musical productions.
